The Divine Heat

Yogi Ashwini 's article in New Indian Express ... http://www.newindianexpress.com/lifestyle/spirituality/The-Divine-Heat/2014/09/13/article2428111.ece The Vedic texts describe manthan, the churning of the celestial ocean by the devs and asurs to obtain the divine nectar or amrit. As a result of the churning, various gems and siddhis came out of the ocean, also came out the venom, ‘halalal’, before obtaining the amrit. It would have doomed all creation. Terrified, the devs and asurs invoked the energy of Adi Guru Shiv. Lord Shiv drank the poison and held it in his throat, distributing siddhis and vibhutis to all. It also describes the awakening of the kundalini shakti in the pranamaya kosha of the human body, through practice of yog and Sanatan Kriya, under the sanidhya of a Guru, who is the reflection of Adi Guru Shiv, in the physical form. The sushumna becomes the churning rod, the twin nadis of ida and pingala represent the opposing forces of cold and heat, moon and sun tha...

Havans for your ancestors

For propitiating your ancestors, conduct havans on amavasya of pitr paksh (Sep 23) to avoid pitr dosh. For chant, contact 9999567895 http://www.dhyanfoundation.com/shradh.php The soul incarnates into a physical body, which is made up of the five elements in various permutations and combinations; Reincarnating birth after birth depending on the kind of  karmas , which one does in a lifetime. There are certain souls who don't reincarnate, either because they are finished with their  karmic  cycle of  bhu   lok  (the  prithvi   lok ) or because they are stuck in a different dimension of existence and are unable to manifest in the human body, as their  karmic  balance is not sufficient to entitle them for a human birth, these souls either remain suspended as energies and are called ghosts and spirits or they go to a different dimension of existence called the  pitr   lok  or the  lok  of the ancestors. Remedy for Acidity

Acidity Acidity is a condition of excess acid secretion that causes irritation and burning of the mucosal lining of the stomach. In  Ayurveda  this condition occurs due to an imbalance of the  pitta   dosha . This condition is a result of derangement of one of the sub-types of  pitta   dosha ,  Pachak .  Pachak  contributes to the digestive fire through the release of gastric juices. Excess secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach is described as  Amla   pitta , a disorder of the sour (acid) and liquid quality of  pitta . The main symptoms tend to appear between one to two hours after eating. This is the time when gastric juices have sufficiently processed the ingested food and the excess acid begins to irritate the mucosal membrane in the stomach. This results in feelings of restlessness, nausea (wanting to throw up) and actual vomiting; sour belching with an aftertaste of the already-eaten food; stiffness in th...

The who’s who of Kolkata’s arts and literary elite made their presence felt at a book reading from Yogi Ashwini’s much acclaimed spiritual and philosophical treatise, THOUGHTS FOR THE ADEPT -1, comprising of sermons of Yogi Ashwini, released in the year of his entering vanprastha ashram. The sermons provide a deep insight into the realm of spirituality and critically examine rare sadhnas like Pradakshina and simplify the yogic concepts of Guru, Kundalini, TattvaGyan, etc. An essence of the teachings of Yogi Ashwini over the last twenty years, the main thought of these sermons is directed towards Shiv Sadhna. A BALANCED UNION

Yogi Ashwini's article in Pioneer on Sunday, 31 August Sunday, 31 August 2014 | Yogi Ashwini | in  Agenda As every phenomenon in nature serves a purpose, there is purpose behind two people coming together. The union of two forces is always for creation, says  Yogi Ashwini We all know the importance of ‘balance’ in creation. Everything in the universe is in its place because of balance. Similarly, all the forces of the nature, higher or lower, have to be in balance all the time for the sustenance of the creation. The smaller forces are nothing but a microscopic representation of the higher forces of universe. The Ardhanareshwar form of Lord Shiva represents the union of Mata Parvati and Lord Shiva or union of Purush and Prakriti, both are two different aspects of nature but come together to form a perfect harmonious balance between two complementary forces. Ardhanareshwar form to aid various purposes of nature represents complete union, a complete whole. They ar...

Yogi Ashwini ji's article on Ganesh Chaturthi in Amar Ujala on 29th August,2014.

Some fragrance always lingers in the hand that gives roses...”

Bindu Dalmia recalls her experience with Yogi Ashwini. By Bindu Dalmia Gurus since time immemorial are the sacred representatives of God in their animate avatar. The living energy of a surreal form. As in life, one's previous karmic balance draws one towards the right circumstances, family and friends, so it is with attaining the umbrella of the right Guru. Let me elucidate this point.  Brahmins were men of lore and wisdom who knew the rituals of the Vedas. Over time, this noble sect deteriorated to corruption like most professions. They mystified the knowledge they were meant to impart to the masses. They played on superstition and fears of mankind.  Gurus were no different, as New Age mentors who started dabbling in politics, meddling in governance, preying on the vulnerability of mankind. Clearly, the clergy had no role in the temporal. But some Gurus became opportunistic predators to men in despair.  Over centuries, the nature of man's combat wit...

Elemental Science

Yogi Ashwini's article in The New Indian Express today... http://www.newindianexpress.com/lifestyle/spirituality/Elemental-Science/2014/08/30/article2403129.ece The body is made up of the five elements—earth, water, fire, air and ether combined with the ego and other gross senses. They form the basis of the major chakras that govern the body; earth for Mooladhar, water for Swadhisthan, fire for Manipoorak, air for Anahad and ether for Vishuddhi. The controls for the various elements in our body lie at our fingertips. The little, ring, middle and index fingers represent earth, water, ether and air respectively while the thumb represents fire. Things expand on heating and contract on cooling. If any element touches the tip of the thumb, it expands and at the base it reduces. We can very easily increase or decrease the various bodily elements, depending on the situation, using mudras. For example, in extreme tension and anxiety, like when appearing for an interview, exam or...
