राम का नाम, दुनिया भर में शुभ माना गया है राम नवमी 'राम' शब्द केवल भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप तक ही सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि दुनिया भर की सँस्कृतियों में इस शब्द का किसी न किसी रूप में उल्लेख है। उदाहरण के तौर पर, स्कैंडिनेवियाई देशों में सबसे अधिक बिकने वाला पानी 'राम-लूसा' के नाम से बिकता है। मुसलमानों का पाक महीना भी 'रमजान' कहा जाता है। हेज़रों का बेटा, जो कि डेविड का एक पूर्वज था, 'राम' के नाम से जाना जाता था। इजराइल के राज्य में भी 'जय-हो-राम' नामक राजा ने राज किया था। बाइबिल में भी कम से कम तीन- चार जगहों पर 'राम' शब्द का जिक्र है तथा और भी कई स्थानों, जैसे बेंजामिन, बेथल, आशेर तथा नपताली में भी इस शब्द उल्लेख है। अभी भी 'राम-नगर' के नाम से जेरुस्ल्म में एक शहर मौजूद है। हिब्रू में 'राम' का अर्थ है 'उच्च या महान' जो कि, शक्ति और सत्ता का प्रतीक है तथा अक्सर इसका प्रयोग किसी नेता या मुखिया के लिए किया जाता है। इन उदाहरणों से तो यही प्रतीत होता है कि राम का नाम, दुनिया भर में शुभ माना गया है। चैत्र मास के शुक्ल पक...

इस दिन की शक्ति को प्राप्त करने के लिए, एक सरल सी क्रिया है, 'राम' का जाप।  इसका आरम्भ करने से पहले, श्रद्धा पूर्वक गुरु-वंदना करें और वज्र आसन में बैठ जाएं। आंखें बंद करके, नाक के सिरे पर ध्यान केंद्रित करें और अपने श्वास की लयबद्द क्रिया पर ध्यान देते हुए कुछ समय तक प्रत्येक सांस को श्वास प्रक्रिया के साथ गहरा और लम्बा करते जाएं। फिर धीरे से एक गहरी लम्बी सांस के साथ अपना ध्यान अपनी नाभि के मध्य, मणिपूरक चक्र पर रखते हुए 'राम’का जाप शुरू करें। नाभि से शक्ति महसूस करते हुए, कुछ समय तक जाप को उच्च स्वर में जारी रखें फिर धीरे- धीरे उसका उच्चारण मंद और गहरा करते हुए  धीरे-धीरे होठों पर ले आएं। अंत में मौन होकर, आंतरिक रूप से जाप जारी रखें। पूरे अभ्यास के समय आंखें बंद रखते हुए अपना ध्यान गुरु पर केंद्रित रखें।     यह एक बहुत ही शक्तिशाली जाप है जो शरीर में अत्यधिक ऊर्जा या गर्मी उत्पन्न कर सकता है। जाप पूर्ण होने पर उससे उत्पन्न  ऊर्जा को, स्वयं की चेतना शक्ति से, अपने शरीर के प्रत्येक अंग और कोशिका में ले जाएं और किसी भी प्रकार के असंतुलन को दूर करें।...

The word Rama is not restricted to Indian subcontinent alone. The highest selling water in Scandinavian countries by the name of Rama-Loosa. The holy month for Muslims is called Rama-daan. There was an ancestor of David who was the son of Hezron, he was called Rama. Life is born out of ‘desire’ and we remain prisoners of this desire over countless lifetimes. During these births, the soul remains oblivious of the purpose of life and gets more and more entangled in  various attractions of the physical world — in relationships, career, properties and places, occupations and hobbies.
