Sacred Responsibility

Yog is only your relationship with your Guru. It begins and ends at the feet of the Guru. Getting a Guru is a sadhana. Dhyan moolam Guru murti, pooja moolam Guru padam Mantra moolam Guru vakyam, moksha moolam Guru kripa The above sloka is the essence of life of a shishya—a shishya’s centre of dhyan is the form of the Guru; all worship is at the feet of the Guru. Guru’s every word is a mantra for the shishya who attains moksha only by the grace of Guru. The Guru has been given the highest place in the shastras. He is Brahma though he has no four heads; he is Vishnu though he doesn’t have four arms; he is Shiv though he has not three eyes—it is in the experience of the Guru alone that the shishya can experience Para Brahma, which is unmanifest. Such is the Guru’s importance that in Rudrayamala it is said, “By devotion to Guru, a jiva will attain the state of Indra, Lord of Celestials, but by devotion to Me (Ishta Devta alone) he might not attain Me”. For a shishya, ev...

Tatva Shuddhi with Yogi Ashwini in Bengaluru

Tatva Shuddhi with Yogi Ashwini - News 9 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sItY7i1W4fY The entire creation is run on prana shakti . Prana is the shakti that exists in every spec of creation. Prana is a frequency, a vibration and it originates from Brahma , the subtlest frequency. When prana originated, the level of frequency started changing and prana divided itself into five frequencies, them being the five elements - prithvi , jal , akash , vayu and agni . These elements then combined together in various permutations and combinations to form different things in creation including our body. The body is a combination of the varying frequencies of prana in the form of five elements. Tatva shuddhi is a potent technique from Sanatan Kriya through which one can bring about subtle changes in the frequency of elements by means of certain chants and etheric purifications, helping the elements in the body to attain their purer states. To bring about any change in the al...

The Renewing Yagya

Yagya is a means of direct interaction with the positive forces in creation. Vedas abound with descriptions of these yagyas performed by rishis and munis to energise manifested creation. Devas and devis would attend the yagyas. Asursa and daityas would also come, in order to disturb them, because creation is a balance of Nature’s two forces—positive and negative. Even in the times when Rishi Agastya and Vishwamitra were in their bodies, there existed negativity. Ram and Lakshman went with Rishi Vishwamitra to protect one such yagya, from asuras. It is the nature of an asura to disrupt. The nature of a human being is to aid positive forces, the devas and devis, by protecting havans conducted for the peace and prosperity of one’s home, surroundings and creation at large. If someone is preventing you from doing a havan then that person’s asuric side is predominant —a good method to check someone else’s and your own nature. Positive and negative sides exist in every aspect of c...

Breathing Right For Youthful Vigour

If you trace a person from being an infant to a full grown adult, you will notice, in most cases, a progressive decline in the skin texture and complexion. A baby is glowing pink whereas most adults, even in their prime youth, are plagued with a diseased skin and dull complexion. This is because, in the process of growing up, one is exposed to certain unnatural practices and stimuli from which it was kept protected in the womb. Take for example, the simple act of breathing. If you observe a baby breathing, you would notice a pronounced abdominal movement. The stomach inflates as it breathes in and deflates as it breathes out. If you observe your own breathing patterns, most likely, you will find it to be the opposite and with little or no abdominal movement...this breathing pattern of yours, holds the key to the way you look and your present state of health. Abdominal breathing maximizes the up and down movement of the diaphragm and ensures that lungs function at their optimal l...

Herbs for reducing fat

A well balanced and beautiful body is there because the  tridoshas  ( vata ,  pitta ,  kapha ) are in balance and in harmony with the elemental composition of the body. When these doshas go into imbalance physical abnormalities begin to manifest. In  Ayurvedic  terminology fat means excess  kapha . Obesity is imbalance in  kapha  or aggravation of  kapha dosha . The causes can be many. As  kapha  is heavy, cold and sticky in nature it requires a lot of heat to expel the  ama  which collects and gets deposited in the system, which we see as fat. For a  kapha  person sleeping in the day is prohibited, as it aggravates  kapha  in the body, in fact a kapha person should try and wake up at least an hour before sunrise. A diet which is light and nourishing is best for effecting fatloss. It is important to scrape away collected ama from the system first, for that purpose triphala can be taken. He...

The Frequency Secret

All of creation is run on prana shakti—the shakti that exists in its every aspect. It is a vibration that originates from brahma, the subtlest of frequencies. When prana originated, the frequency level started changing. Prana divided itself into five frequencies of the five elements—prithvi, jal, akash, vayu, and agni. These elements then combined together in various permutations and combinations to form different things in creation including our body. Our body is a combination of the varying prana frequencies in the form of the five elements. From time to time, this combination varies from person to person; and in the same person, too. These elements make one woman pretty while another not so; cause one man to be healthy and another to be diseased. When one element increases in frequence, one or all the others diminish accordingly, as the sum total is constant. At the level of prana, it is clairvoyantly seen as a change in frequency from the subtler to grosser or visa versa, from ...
