Secrets of Anti-Ageing

Our body is composed of millions of cells, each vibrating at varying frequencies of prana. They divide, giving birth to newer cells, which are weaker than the previous ones. This is seen as change to a grosser frequency, or ageing. While there is an age limit to every cell, certain cells do not age—the sperm cells, which are manifestations of sukra in the pranic body. They hold the secret to anti-ageing.

A human being has merely seven drops of sukra in the body, and each drop is phenomenal energy; a rejuvenator par excellence and also the giver of new life. When conserved, it translates into phenomenal glow and attraction, lustrous hair and a strong and agile body. A normal person causes it to dry up through emotional congestion, excessive physical labour, anger and sexual activity. This causes inadequate lubrication and faster ageing.

Through specific yogic practices, sukra can be conserved and transmuted into ojas, responsible for the extraordinary radiance around a person. At an advanced stage, it transforms into tej. An extremely powerful technique to preserve sukra is the Amrit Visarga Kriya. In the course of normal life, the sukra is lost by flowing downwards and getting consumed at lower energy centers. Amrit Visarga Kriya reverses this flow. I detail here some of the secrets of the rishis, found in the book Sanatan Kriya The Ageless Dimension along with some rare rasayans and diets to enhance longevity and glow of the body till the last breath.

Vipreetkarni: This holds energy at the pit of the throat, the Vissudhi Chakra, and works wonders for grey hair, wrinkles and sagging skin. Lie on your back, keeping your legs straight and feet together. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Using the support of your hands, gently raise both legs to an upright position while keeping them joined, toes pointing up. The lower spine is also lifted off floor. The legs are perpendicular to the ground while the spine is tilted at an angle of 45 degrees. The shoulders and head stay on the ground. The chin is partially tucked into the chest and hands support the body. Retain the posture while maintaining the awareness of the nectar at the throat pit. This asana should not be practiced by people suffering from cervical spondylitis, slip disc, high blood pressure, and during menstruation and pregnancy.

Mahabandha: this asana causes energy to reach the seat of Guru, the Agya Chakra. It arrests ageing and bestows great siddhis. To practice it, sit holding the spine straight. Bend the left knee, pressing the left heel into the perineum or vagina. Place the right heel on the left thigh. Inhale from the right nostril and perform the Shambhavi and Khechari Mudra. Holding your breath, perform Mool Bandha followed by Jalandhar Bandha. With your arms kept straight and hands on the knees, hold the posture for a count of seven. Gently release the bandhas, first Jalandhar and Mool Bandha. Repeat on the other side.

It is important to have a Guru to practice the above or it can damage the body. After performing the mentioned asana and bandha, sit in Siddhasana and close your eyes. Take your awareness to the cross section of the temples and the line at the centre of your eyebrows to the back of the head. Be aware of the nectar dropping down from this point. Hold it in your throat. Drop all awareness, let go. Whenever your awareness returns, pay salutations to the Guru, open your eyes and look into the centre of your palms. Mail me your experiences.

It’s fine to have sex and yet maintain your sukra, through specific individualistic kriyas and mantras given by your guru.

MERGER OF SHIV AND SHAKTI

Shiv is the doer and may be likened to a vehicle. If you remove ‘i’ from Shiv, it becomes ‘shav’ (corpse). The ‘i’ represents Shakti, which is the fuel that energises this vehicle to perform action. Shakti is the force of the physical world. Shivratri is the night of merger of Shiv and Shakti making a complete whole. Shiv and Shakti pertain to manifest creation and arise from the unmanifest. The journey back to the unmanifest can be carved only through their complete merger which is the ultimate purpose of yoga and Sanatan Kriya . A practical example of merger of Shiv and Shakti is the institution of marriage where the merger of male and female leads to manifestation of a new life. If there is a mismatch in this merger of male and female, or Shiv and Shakti, the marriage remains incomplete. This imbalance is evident in the progeny who will exhibit anti-social and undesirable behaviour and traits. The rishis of yesteryear explained how incompleteness sets into the child in t...

Chakra Beej Kriya: Part 1

Yog is not about twisting and turning yourself into knots and complicated postures, yog taps into the power of consciousness. As you practice yog in totality, as prescribed, you start glowing and the immunity of the body heightens, slowly you begin to exude the glow of the sun. The body that we greet in the mirror everyday is run by a higher force, which is invisible to the naked eye but very clearly visible to a clairvoyant in the form of colours and to a clairaudient in the form of specific sounds. These colours and sounds correspond to certain energy centers in the body, which control and govern various body parts and functions. Much before you identify symptoms of a disease or ailment and decide to visit a doctor, these symptoms are perceived by a yogic practitioner in the form of change in colour, texture, size and sound of various chakras. Sanatan Kriya prescribes various techniques under the topic of self-healing to access this invisible sheath of the body and through...
